This year, we are engaging in a friendly competition between all of the churches. We want to see which youth group can raise the most amount of money towards the Crop Hunger Walk. The highest raising group (dollar amount divided by number of youth walkers) will win a prize – pizza party for groups over 5 people, or an ice cream party for groups 5 people or under.

Among all the churches, we will also be looking for the oldest and youngest walkers, the largest number of walkers, and the highest amount raised per group and per walker. So encourage other members of your congregation to participate, in order to make your church the winner in multiple categories!

One way to increase your fundraising is to encourage your friends and family to donate. We even have a way to donate online, so you can ask people who live far away! The Crop Hunger Walk helps people all over the world, and we all have an interest in making the Earth a better place.

Remember, we walk because they walk. Everyday, people around the world walk miles just to get enough water and food to survive.
